Spare Change

If I could describe our family right now, it would be exhausted!  Colby is still adjusting to full day school, Tara and I are trying to get into the new house, and Kallee is unfortunately been along for the ride!  We might be tired, but we know we are BLESSED!  God is Good, All the time God is Good!

A few notes for a sleepy Tuesday!

• Please pray a good friend of mine whose mother is fighting cancer.  Nita Gilbert started chemo yesterday.  Pray for her strength and health.
• C-A-T-S!!!  UK basketball in August.  How great is that.  I don’t care if they were playing high school teams!  Go Big Blue. 
• Pradero is in the final stages.  We got the floors completely done and my father-in-law, Tom Bowman, has been blowing our minds!  He has cut, nailed, and caulked all the trim in our house (which was ALL of the house).  He has now come back and helped with hanging and installing some of the electrical!  I don’t know how to express my thanks….i would give him a big man hug, but I am not sure he would come back??
• The latest Newsboys CD is pretty good.  I love the song “impossible”
• I am going to pick up Grace Based Parenting this week and attempt to read.  Colby and Kallee beware!!
• I love my WIFE!  She is unbelievable.
• Pray for my grandmother, Ruby Boyd.  She gets results tomorrow from a Bone Marrow aspiration.  Her kidneys have been struggling a bit and doctors fear she may have some sort of blood cancer?  Just pray that we get answers and the appropriate treatment.
• I am so HAPPY the weather has broke.  Dude it was way to HOT the last couple of weeks.
• Soccer got started.  My girls took one on the chin, but no worries.  They are getting better and that is all that matters.  High School soccer kicks off this week.  Tonight I plan on watching Anderson Co vs Sayre.  Go The Fighting Josh Doolins!!!!

Stay tuned.  We hope to move this next week or so and the blogging will pick up.  Tara might even take a stab at it…..remember her…she is the awesome wife I spoke of earlier!!
