So it is Monday again! Our weekend was packed and sure didn’t seem long enough. On to some random thoughts:
- It was sure good to be back at Hope Community Church this week. I had missed the last three Sundays and it was a blessing to hear Jeffro teach.
- I love Qdoba. I am addicted. Sunday afternoons aren’t complete without a trip.
- Pradero is moving along. We got the new windows in, most of the painting done, and the hardwood floors are getting closer! Only about 75-80 square feet left. Too bad the will take the longest!
- Colby headed off to Kindergarten this morning. He did great. So did mom and dad! Here’s a picture of him this morning:

- Want to praise God for blessing some of our dear friends this weekend! Tim and Doherty Reynolds (Life Upside Down) are in process of trying to adopt. They had a yard sale this weekend and raised roughly 5 grand! What an amazing and truly blessed way to start!
- Please pray for my grandmother (Ruby Boyd). She has been under they weather for a few weeks and will have three rounds of dialysis this week. She is awaiting results from a recent bone marrow aspiration which will hopefully give her some answers as to why her kidney has stopped functioning as well.
- Soccer has kicked back into swing. Colby started this Saturday. This is his 2nd year and he is starting to gain confidence. He actually scored two goals! My select team starts Sunday. We travel to Louisville to play Javanon, which is a very good team. I can’t wait to see the girls in action again!
- Against my better judgment, I downloaded Angry Birds, which is this ridiculous game for the iPhone. All the guys were playing in Honduras and I vowed to not fall into the trap. So much for having discipline. I am addicted to killing little green pigs with angry birds!!!!
- Almost finished reading Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream (told you it would take a few weeks!). I would suggest it and will probably ultimately end up sharing some from it.
That’s it for now. Thanks for stopping by and thanks to all who have left comments! Have a blessed day!
