So where did Monday go? It’s only Tuesday but this week appears to be moving at warp speed! So it appears that my post last week got a little response. I have enjoyed hearing the positive feedback and encourage words. Sometimes I let Satan convince me that my path through life really can’t or won’t be interesting to others, but a few weeks ago I heard a friend share his testimony at church and it really connected with me. I could relate to his path and maybe others could relate to mine. Of course, as nice as it is to hear someone say, “I really enjoyed your post last week,” my pray is that it challenges people to live a little differently. I don’t know where or what God is calling people to do, but I do know that His path is rewarding. Plus, hopefully people will find out that I am a pretty boring person along the way!
Off to random thoughts…
- This time next week I will be in the HONDURAS! I am pump, excited, freaked out, and not ready all at the same time. Please pray for a dear friend, CB, as she has had some weird reaction to her shots and may not be able to go.
- Pradero is coming along nicely! I got both bathrooms tiled this weekend and cabinets are scheduled for Thursday! My fingers are killing me and I have seen enough of the tile saw for a few years!
- Tara has gone all “artsy” on me. Check out the soccer silhouettes she painted for Colby’s new room!

- I have some of the coolest friends. Just today I learned that Tim Reynolds is looking into volunteering with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). He is doing it because he feels God calling him to do it. I hope I can be a support him.
- My kids absolutely love the water. Colby has taken off with swimming. He is diving, swimming to the bottom of the pool, and doing cannon balls off the diving board! I can’t believe he is only 5.
- Only Tara and I would drive 3 hours one way to look at a bunk bed, buy the bunk bed, find out it won’t fit in the van, return the bunk bed, drive 3 hours back home. Then wake up the next morning to find that we still had all the hardware and screws!!!! Thank You USPS for flat rate shipping!
Well that’s enough of that….I have a few songs to learn in Spanish!!!!
