Spare Change

So, I will admit it.  I have been pretty lazy about blogging.  Heck, I have been pretty busy about doing anything.  It seemed like Christmas and New Years flew by and then this weather stuff has had our family all out of our normal routine!

BUT, we (I am speaking for Tara) are back and ready to rock!  A couple of random thoughts to start:

• Colby has had a great past couple of weeks at school!  He won “Student of the Month” for December and then his class was on Channel 27 News this past Monday!  He is growing up pretty quickly!
• Kallee is working on the whole potty training thing.  And when I say working, I mean pretty loosely!  “I can’t get my pee pee out” is her common phrase these days!
• I gave up my iPhone!  For many of you that know me, this is hard to believe.  But, honestly I haven’t missed it as much as I thought I would.
• Against my better judgement, I signed up to play indoor soccer.  Let’s hope that I am not blogging about injuries anytime soon.
• Book of the Month (that’s how long I need) - Interrupted by Jen Hatmaker
• Tara is killing the Marathon training.  I don’t know why she submits herself to it, but I am proud of her.  Anybody who is willing to run in sub-30 degree weather needs a shout out!
• Philippians 1:27 has been my topic of study lately.  I actually watched a live stream of Passion2011 and Francis Chan taught from it.  Has your conduct been worthy of the gospel of Christ?  (i know….me too)
• What is up with the CATS?  Take care of “little brother” but can’t win on the road for nothing….good thing I care a little less each year.
